Yes, copyright law can protect the graphic design of an original artistic logo, so if any one uses your logo without your permission or copies it, you can take action.
Please Note: It does NOT, protect a name that may be on the logo.
No, you CAN NOT effectively protect a name using copyright and the Protect My Work copyright proof system, copyright law does not protect names or slogans, but we can protect original logos. For a name:
- You must instead look at trademark or setup a trading company in that name
- Trademarks applications are filed with the UK Government
- Government filing fees start at £170
- Protect My Work can file trademark applications for £499 + VAT, plus the £170 government filing fee mentioned above.

- Protect My Work charges a flat subscription fee of £41.65 (ex. VAT) per year to become a member. This fee does NOT increase with the number of certificate tokens purchased.
- Cancel your subscription any time from within our member area, see here for FAQ.
- We do not offer a one-off lifetime fee. Lifetime subscriptions are not an effective way to protect copyright. See here for FAQ.
- Upload unlimited work. Simply buy more certificate tokens for £1 (ex. VAT) each , pay–as-you-go.
- You’ll receive 5 tokens free when you join.
- To upload your work, you need a “certificate token”
- You'll receive 5 certificate tokens free when you join
- Buy tokens for £1 (ex. VAT) each, pay-as-you-go
- A token allows you to upload up to 5 files at the same time
- A certificate can have a mix of different work but they'll share the same digital certificate and reference number
- The combined total of all five files must not be more than 150 MB
- For more than 5 files, upload a zip file, no more than 150 MB
- Any certificate tokens that you don't use, get automatically get rolled to the next year of your subscription.

- You’ll receive an email (CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER ) which will contain your password
- Simply login and click the “Upload New Work” button
- Enter the title of your work and attach up to 5 files per certificate. You can use a zip file if you have more than 5 files to upload on a certificate, as long as the combined weight of those files do not weigh more than 150 MB

We are legally obliged to delete your personal account details, all uploaded work files and digital certificates if your account is not renewed. Protect My Work will be unable to act as your witness as we will not hold any of your personal data or work and your digital certificates will be void.
To unsubscribe, login to our member area and toggle the automatic renewal button to OFF.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We are legally obliged to delete your personal account details, all uploaded work files and digital certificates if your account is not renewed. Protect My Work will be unable to act as your witness as we will not hold any of your personal data or work and your digital certificates will be void.
